Real Name: Robert "Bob" Allon

A law enforcement officer stationed on Mars, Bob Allon was in hot pursuit of a rogue Kigorian when a meteor struck the planet's surface and created a shockwave that threw Allon from his vehicle. Allon was found days later laying comatose in the deserts of Mars and brought to a hospital. Little did the doctors know, however, that Allon's consciousness was somehow transferred into a 30-foot tall Martian statute as a result of the accident. Calling himself the Living Colossus, Allon learned to control his new body and even manipulate the size of the massive granite statute. The Living Colossus returned to active duty in the Martian Police Force and used his newfound monstrous strength and invulnerability to quickly rise through the force's ranks to the position of lieutenant. When the Legion of Galactic Guardians was formed, the Living Colossus was ordered by his superiors to join their ranks so that he could offer his valuable field experience to the team of young heroes.
